On the Pleasant morning and fantastic morning of 20th July 2023 The investiture ceremony was held in our St. Paul’s English Medium High School kovur, to elect the School Pupil leader, assistant school pupil leader as well as the captain of the houses. Appreciating the talents, the hidden potentialities of the students and values of the students. Our Principal Sr. Pauline welcomed the leaders to the stage and made them to take this challenging responsibilities courageously with the promises and oath.

The school witnessed the bright cheerful faces of selected school pupil leaders and the House captains. The elected Cabinet was conferred with badges and slash took over the responsibilities. Our Principal Sr.Pauline has inspired and motivated the student with her effective speech what is the role of a leader and the qualities of the leader. It was a memorable moment to inculcate the values of leadership at the tender age and to assume responsible position in the future. Our headmistress wished and blessed them to begin the responsibilities.

Graduation Day, a big day for the students of our UKG who have now moved on to Std 1 in the Primary school. The management, staff, students and parents at St. Paul’s E.M.H School, celebrated this milestone on 13th April 2024 .. This was indeed an exciting day not only for our kids but parents too as it marked a new beginning to their school life. All the kids looked smart and proud, wearing their pre-primary uniform for the very last time, along with their special Graduation Day slashes. The celebration began with a welcome speech by our student Neelima.followed by a prayer by Head mistress There were two special songs prepared for this celebration by our students. The prayer song, “Everything I am” was introduced to all by Sofisizen This song was selected to remind our children to be thankful for everything they have. After the prayer song, we invited our Principal Sr.Pauline Gali to address our parents present there. This was followed by another special performance by our students. The Graduation Song, “First Grade First Grade” was introduced by teachers. This song highlighted how the students were grateful for everything they had learned in the Pre-primary and how they looked forward to learning so much more in Primary School. Both the performances by the students were outstanding and received an overwhelming applause by everyone present at the event. We had surprise waiting and that was a special performance by all the pre-primary teachers, who sang a song titled, “We love you dear children”, dedicated to all our wonderful students. This performance was indeed appreciated by all the parents. We also had another surprise but this time it was for the teachers and the non-teaching staff. The parents of UKG felicitated all the teachers and staff. gave a warm and a heart touching speech followed by felicitation of all the teachers and staff with a beautiful memento. Graduation Day was indeed a bittersweet celebration for teachers as well, as we bid farewell to our UKG batch, wishing them love and luck for their bright future ahead. The celebration ended with a vote of thanks by our student …., who expressed gratitude on behalf of the entire UKG batch for all the love and care given by the teaching and non-teaching staff to the students during their time in the pre-primary. This was a day full of fond memories of the past and anticipation for the bright future ahead.

The importance of graduation ceremony also relates to an occasion for students to express gratitude to their family, friends, and mentors who have supported and encouraged them throughout their academic journey. It is a day to recognize their contributions and the role they have played in the graduates’ success. This is the very first time we have given the felicitation ceremony for the pre-primary students so for we have never done in our school .it was very thrilling moment for the students and double joy for hem to get this graduation day .Parents were very happy and satisfied about their students felicitation ceremony ,the students too expressed their gratitude that the second time they are receiving this graduation ceremony ,their hearts were filled with joy and happiness they expressed that we are very lucky students to get this graduation from this esteemed institution.
So, what makes A great many things of course, but for me the stand-out aspect is Diversity. A culture that values and cultivates Diversity. Diversity of interests. This school offers a myriad of activities and opportunities that the students enthusiastically embrace. A balance between academic excellence, and the pursuit of diverse cultural and social activities. A tricky balancing act for a selective school, work hard to get right. As a token of appreciation, we would like to address the teachers with gratitude, expressing appreciation for their dedication, guidance, and support throughout our boy’s academic journey. Thank you so much for your tireless dedication and unwavering support. You’ve played a pivotal role in shaping our child’s future, and we are incredibly grateful for everything you’ve done. Your passion for teaching and commitment to excellence have truly made a difference in our children’s life, and we couldn’t be more thankful. Today, as we celebrate this milestone, we want to express our heartfelt appreciation for all that you’ve done. Thank you for being an exceptional teacher and for making a lasting impact on our children’s education.”

INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION -2024-2025

Independence Day celebrations in St. Paul’s school were held on August 15, 2024 with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor.  The event was attended by students, staffs, the parents of our students and the old students of our school.

The dignitaries were welcomed with band to the stage with pomp and gaiety. The celebration began with the flag hoisting ceremony by Sri.Intha Malla Reddy in charge of Panchayat ward of Kovur was the chief guest of that day.Mr.Chandra Krishna Reddy the TDP member was the guest of honor. He delivered the patriotic speech and urged the students to be proud of their heritage and to contribute towards building a strong and prosperous India.

Following the flag hoisting, a series of cultural performances took place Students from various grades participated in the event showcasing their talents through patriotic songs, dances, Karate, Yoga, pyramid, hoops and Lezims.The high lighting performances were the hoops and pyramid.

It were the spectacular and heart touching event of that day. The Independence Day celebration was a grand success. It not only instilled a sense of patriotism among the students but also reminded everyone of the importance of unity and responsibilities in building a stronger nation. The event concluded with the distribution of sweets to the students and parents marking the event a memorable day.

Introduction

I think we all are well aware of the name of Jesus Christ, popularly known as God’s messenger. Every year 25th of December is celebrated as the birthday of Jesus Christ. It is the biggest festival of Christians but celebrated by the people of every religion all around the world. The day is also termed as ‘big day’  and is celebrated with great enthusiasm and happiness. The children are most excited and waiting for this festival.

 

Commemoration of Christmas Festival

Christmas is the biggest festival of Christians and is celebrated by people all over the world. The festival is celebrated with great happiness and joy. The number of people belonging to Christianity in India is limited in number and is dispersed. Despite this factor, the festival is celebrated with great pomp and show as people of all religions celebrate this occasion.

The preparation for this festival starts one month before. People buy dresses, different items of decoration, and gifts for each other. It is very exciting to do shopping for making this occasion a happening one. The houses and churches are cleaned and whitewashed and decorated before the arrival of the festival. The Christmas tree is decorated fully with stars, balloons, and lights.

The Christmas tree symbolizes new life and a new spirit. The festival is celebrated by singing carols, hymns, prayers, the lighting of bonfire and dancing around it, parties and exchanging of gifts and wishes. People after offering their prayers arrange midnight parties at their homes and enjoy different kinds of food and drinks.

 

Christmas Celebration 2023 in My School

The celebration of Christmas and New Year is organized in our schools. Christmas is celebrated in our school with great enthusiasm and zeal. The kids are most excited about the celebration of the festival .We have prepared Christmas tableau to exhibit the birth of Jesus Christ  with lots of love and happiness  and some cultural activities too to add colorful moments  to the program organized. The stage is cleaned and decorated with garlands, lights, ribbons, and balloons. The Christmas tree is decorated with stars, balloons, and lights by the students. The beginning of the program is initiated by a welcome song. Many programs and plays depicting the birth of Jesus Christ are performed by students. Christmas carols are sung by the choir group. We invited our parish priest Rev.Fr. Arul sundar as a chief guest for the program he gave Christmas message to the students very beautifully narrating some moral stories to make the students to understand the meaning of the Christmas, He also distributed prizes for the students who have participated in various competition conducted in the school previous month. He appreciated and congratulated the winners for their achievements and encouraged the students to go further. Our principal Sr.Pauline showed her love and gratitude to the chief guest for accepting our humble invitation and gracing this occasion, and she also delivered a speech dedicated to the festival of Christmas and gave her warm wishes to every one of us. At last one of our student dressed in the costume of Santa clause i.e. red attire and great white beard and mustaches dancedgracefully and gave some chocolates to the students, especially kids. After the program every student received a Christmas cake in their respective classes from their teachers. The Christmas and New Year celebrations are done on the same day as school closes for winter vacation. The ending day of the year and before the beginning of the school holidays is cherished by a beautiful celebration.

Arrangement of a Program on Christmas Eve for Poor Students

The teachers along with the co-ordination of some students organize a program on the same day after school hours for the poor students residing nearby the school premises. Every child is provided with a set of new dresses. The arrangement for their dresses is done previously by our school administration. Different small programs are presented by teachers and students for their enjoyment. They also participate in the program. Further, the gifts are distributed among them along with Christmas cakes. This is the charity work which is done by our school. They also come to school for taking free classes and learning. The smile on their faces gives the real satisfaction of celebrating the festival.

 

Exchange of Gifts and Wishes on Christmas Eve

 People of the Christian religion start preparing for the celebration of the festival 3-4 days before. They buy gifts for every member of the family and close ones. They give gifts after offering a prayer to God.  We the staff member had a beautiful moment of sharing our gifts with one another. At the verybeginning of the month we put the lots in which each teacher names are written each one took different name and offered our personal prayers for their well-being and on Christmas eve we gathered together to say few words about our Christmas friend and share our gifts, each one shared about their Christmas friend it was heart touching and emotional too can’t forget that moment. The day was ended with lots of happiness and cheerfulness.

Conclusion

Christmas is the festival that teaches us to live with harmony and love. It also teaches sharing and helping the poor and needy. There is a lot of satisfaction in sharing our things with others. This festival is celebrated by people of every religion. It is celebrated in the whole world with great excitement and joy. Jingle Bells Jingle Bells, Jingles all the way is the favorite song of kids and reminds them of the coming of Santa uncle.

ST.PAUL’S ENGLISH MEDIUM HIGH SCHOOL

What great month of November its dawn on the children in the schools are waiting to celebrate their special day – Children’s Day. It is a day dedicated to the promotion of Children’s well being we reflect on the state of children around the world and what is being done to improve their lives it is a day to reflect on the importance of children and their rights and work towards the creating a society that is safe, supportive and nurturing for them to grow and thrive.

‘’The children of today will make the India of tomorrow. The way we bring them up will determine the future of the country.’’ Said Jawaharlal Nehru., the first Prime ministry of India .this golden words hold a gravitas to be remembered for ages. Nehru dedicated   his life to ensuring that every child has the fundamental right to education and tirelessly worked to reinforce the establishment of various educational institutes in India.

On this very special and joyful day, the children’s day was celebrated with lot of excitement and joy by the students and teachers of ST. Paul’s   English medium high school. The teachers made the day, more joyful and unforgettable for the students by conducting the various games and keeping the stalls, lucky tips items. The day was begun with a special assembly. Our Principal Sr.Pauline delivered  a very thoughtful and inspiring message to the students by highlighting the great values   of each child in the society.Through her message she has touched the little hearts to feel proud of their own self and their significant role in the present and future world. She also presented the speech about Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and how he was fond of children.

The very important and highlight of the day was the Lucky tips games and stalls items. All the children were participated with lot of enthusiasm and gladness. As the games were something different special, they felt excitement with lots of gifts and prizes. It was a very pleasant experience for all the children who participated in the games and won the prizes. Also we conducted the various competition like ‘’Fancy dress, acting, ramp walking, quiz competition, drawing, essay writing and speech on particular topic of this day. The students expressed their talents by preparing it creatively beforehand.It was a great chance and knowledge. The students felt proud of themselves in everything they participated and won the prizes.

The students were refreshed, relaxed and enjoyed the whole day with their beautiful and elegant dresses. Along    with  the games. We also prepared the delicious eatable items like Pani Puri, Bajji,Bonda, and Biriyani and many more items too. The children enjoyed well with this fresh and energy giving food iterms.The day was ended with lot of happiness and memorable one for all the children and teachers.

MAKAR SANKRANTHI CELEBRATION -2024

INTRODUCTION

Makar Sankranthi is the festival which is majorly celebrated by the Hindu community with great joy and happiness. It is celebrated on 14th January every year however it might be also celebrated on 15th January depending on the solar cycle. People celebrate this festival by taking holy dip in the rivers in the morning and offering prayers to the Sun which is considered as god according to the Hindu mythology.

Every year, on January 14th, we rejoice in Makar Sankranti. This festival signals the close of winter and the start of a new harvest time. In Hindu tradition, Makar Sankranti honors the Sun God. This day is special because of its astrological importance and is seen as fortunate.

It is believed that taking bath in River Ganga on Makar Sankranti can wash all our sins and helps to attain salvation. People enjoy the festivities of the season by having sweets made up of   jaggery. People, especially children, enjoy the occasion by flying kites with their friends and family members.Makar Sankranti is celebrated across the country with different names and customs like Pongal in Tamil Nadu, Magh Bihu in Assam, Uttrayan in Gujarat, Maghi in Punjab and Haryana, Khichdi in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar etc.

IMPORTANCE OF MAKAR SANKRANTHI

The festival signifies the arrival of spring and the start of a fresh harvest season. It holds importance in terms of both seasons and religion. This day is regarded as highly fortunate in the Hindu calendar. On this special day, we wish you a life brimming with joy and positivity.

The transition of sun into Capricorn or ‘Uttrayan’ is of spiritual significance and it is believed that taking a dip in holy rivers like Ganga helps to wash away all our sins and makes our soul pure and sacred. From Makar Sankranti, the nights become shorter and days start getting longer which signifies the increase of the spiritual light and decrease of materialistic darkness. It is also believed that taking a holy bath at ‘Triveni Sangam’ at Prayagraj on Makar Sankranti during ‘Kumbh Mela’ is of great importance which washes all our sins and clears all the obstacles of life.

SANKRANTHI CELEBRATION IN OUR SCHOOL

On January 9th 2024 we celebrated sankranthi in a grand manner; Our Principal Sr.Pauline Gali welcomed all the Teachers, students, and parents to this great festival of sankranthi. She delivered a short message about sankranthi  telling that it is a festival by which every class of people enjoy and spread the message of togetherness and harmony. It aims to be respectful towards others and live our own life with peace,joy,harmony and prosperity, after her speech Mr. Mohan one of our school staff  gave wonderful speech about Bhogi,Sankranthi and kanuma every student the real meaning of this celebration and festival too, after the speech we proceeded to conduct various competitions  for  the  parents like Rangoli and cooking sweet pongal  they took active part in the competitions conducted and they were much delighted .Our Principal rewarded some gifts to the winners of the day ,it was beautiful and unforgetful day with the parents .It was the very first time to conduct competitions for the parents in the school. We all enjoyed by dancing and singing the traditional songs all these made us to double our joy and togetherness on this great festival day. After a short program we distributed sweet pongal for the students, Teachers, and parents, we ended the program by wishing each other .It was really a great joy and happiness for all of us.
